PARTNER WITH TECHINDIANA
The Strategic Talent Partner for Indiana Employers.
Indiana’s tech workforce isn’t just a hiring problem — it’s a strategy. TechIndiana helps employers see the trends, build the pipelines, develop their people, and adapt to AI.
THE TALENT REALITY
Indiana Tech, Honestly.
Indiana’s technology workforce story plays out very differently than the national headlines. Smart employer strategy starts with the local data.
93%
of Indiana tech workers are employed outside tech-sector firms — across manufacturing, life sciences, healthcare, and financial services.
72%
of Indiana jobs will require post-secondary education by 2031, far outpacing today’s pipeline.
<40%
of Indiana high schoolers go on to earn a college degree — even as demand for credentialed talent climbs.
$1.47
average employer return for every $1 invested in apprenticeship — with stronger retention than traditional hires.

- Cross-skilling — build adjacency and resilience
- Industry-recognized credentials with Indiana stackability
04

INDIANA’S STRATEGIC POSITION
A First-Mover Window.
Indiana has a real, time-bound advantage in the AI workforce transition. Drawn from the Indiana AI Workforce Report — the state’s primary source for technology workforce data.
FIRST-MOVER ADVANTAGE
Move Now or Pay Later
Indiana’s early adoption window creates the chance to attract AI-focused businesses, anchor expertise clusters, and define the workforce standards others will follow.
MODEL STATE POTENTIAL
The Country Is Watching
Other states are watching Indiana’s approach to workforce transition and training. Success here can attract federal pilot funding and national recognition.
TALENT MAGNET
Indiana Pulls Talent In
With higher training rates than expected and strong AI adoption, Indiana can become a destination for workers seeking AI-enabled career growth — not a state losing talent to others.
THE MATURITY LEAP
From Exploring to Deploying
